Duocentric Duo
by taylurk
Two preparatory drawings, further exploring the duocentric layering technique with which I have long been experimenting in my sketchbooks and paintings. This technique was initially born as means of concealing the shortcomings of the drawings themselves and, in some cases, the identity of the subject, but it has since become somewhat of a selling point. Occasionally “accidents” can yield the most interesting results.
